こんにちは。イギリス出身の英語講師、ウェイン・バクスターです。
2004年から日本に住み、英語を教えています。
現在、巣鴨・駒込にあるもみじ幼稚園内で、子どもたちに英語を教えています。歌やゲーム、会話を取り入れながら、小さな子どもたちが英語の楽しさを発見できるようなレッスンを行っています。
また、東京都清瀬市でもさまざまな英語クラスを担当しており、親子クラスから小学生、中学生、高校生、そして大人まで、幅広い年齢の生徒に英語を教えています。これまで多くの生徒さんやご家族と出会い、それぞれの英語学習のステージに合わせてサポートしています。
さらに2026年4月からは、南青山のカルチャーサロンGlossé 艶で大人向けの英会話クラスもスタートします。リラックスしたフレンドリーな雰囲気の中で、大人の方が英語でのコミュニケーション力を楽しく伸ばせるクラスにしたいと考えています。
私は、英語は楽しく前向きに学ぶことが大切だと思っています。生徒のみなさんが自信を持ち、やる気を持って、日常生活の中で英語を使うことを楽しめるようサポートすることが私の目標です。
休日には関東の山でハイキングをしたり、サッカーをしたりして過ごしています。日本の食べ物も大好きで、特に長いハイキングのあとに食べる焼き鳥がお気に入りです。
【英語の自己紹介】
Hello, my name is Wayne Baxter and I am from England in the UK. I have been living in Japan and teaching English since 2004.
I currently teach children at Momiji Kindergarten, where I enjoy helping young learners discover the fun of English through games, songs, and communication.
I also teach a variety of English classes in Kiyose, Tokyo, working with students of many different ages — from parent and baby classes, elementary school students, to junior high school, high school students, and adults. Over the years, I have been fortunate to work with many wonderful students and families across Tokyo, and it has been a pleasure to support learners at every stage of their English journey.
From April this year, I will also begin offering English conversation classes for adults at the Glosse En Culture Salon in Minami-Aoyama. I’m looking forward to creating a relaxed and friendly environment where adults can enjoy improving their English communication skills.
I believe that learning English should be enjoyable and encouraging. My goal is to help students feel confident, motivated, and excited about using English in their daily lives.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy hiking in the mountains around the Kanto region and playing soccer. I also love Japanese food — especially yakitori after a long hike!
